Amanda joined Yes Mortgage Services in 2014, providing operations / financial management support to the business on a freelance basis. Over the years her role has grown, and now also works as one of the team’s Protection Advisors.
Before joining the team, Amanda served 23 years in the Royal Navy as a Logistics Officer, and she brings that same discipline, straight talking approach and care for people into her work today. After leaving the military she because founder of VA Training Academy, part of VACT Limited, where she trained and coached Virtual Assistants across the UK. It is here she really learnt the value and benefits of protection.
Amanda is married to our Director, Andrew and mum to James and Jacob. When she’s not working, she’s usually keeping up with the boys, whether that’s the school / college run, sport on the touchline, or just trying to get everyone out of the door on time!

Richard Smith254 days agoEleanor Deane was really helpful arranging the mortgage for us. This was more difficult than the average mortgage as the flat being purchased has a small amount of non-flammable cladding. Despite providing ample evidence that this was not a problem this caused some lenders to turn us down flat and others asked for unnecessary and expensive reports. Eleanor kept looking for us and at last found a more reasonable lender who looked at the evidence provided and made us an offer. But El has been truly fantastic, she’s thorough, prompt, extremely affable, and adapted her communication style to suit my specific needs. She’d talk me through any long, overwhelming emails full of lots of detail to make sure everything was absolutely clear and was exceptionally patient with every question I had. Georgia Looker(2025.07.04)We first contacted Andy in February 2024 for Mortgage advice. He was very helpful and gave clear advice and information on which mortgages would be suitable for us. He found us a good deal quickly and gave clear information in a way we understood around this. Due to few set backs we had a few wobbles along the way to completing our house purchase. Andy went above and beyond to reassure us. There were times when I was upset. Andy’s professional manner, calmness and sense of humour when appropriate always made me feel that we would get there in the end which we did. Once we were near completion Kelly supported us with life and buildings insurance. Like Andy she gave us clear information so we understood what was on offer so we could make an informed choice. Kelly also went above and beyond in answering our many questions and having to repeat quotes due to the time delays. She also made sure we had buildings insurance in place at short notice so we were able to complete. As first time buyers we had no idea what we were doing or what to expect. We have appreciated Andy and Kelly’s support in helping us understand everything clearly and their patience in reassuring us when we needed it. As first time buyers trying to secure a leasehold flat in London there was a lot of learning to do. El was so assuring, genuine and helpful throughout the process and, aside from finding us a mortgage, generously helped us with questions we had along the way. Of all the people involved in the process of buying, from real estate agents to the solicitor, El was by far the most trustworthy and excellent to work with. I generally find the whole experience quite stressful as im older and doing it on my own, however, Eleanor was incredibly patient, thorough and talked me through the bits i struggled with - i was also anxious about the length of my mortgage and Eleanor gave me the time to explore my options and was very accommodating when i added different things into the mix. Explaining everything clearly and answering any questions we had quickly and honestly ensuring we never felt silly for asking. Claire made sure to look into every avenue to find what was best suited to us and allowed us time to digest all the relevant information before making a decision. We were never made to feel rushed into making snap decisions. Claire ensured we were always made to feel like a priority even on Mothering Sunday. sadie tiplady1819 days agoFrom the very start Andy was helpful and informative about how to go about buying our first home. Nothing was too much trouble and when it must have been very time consuming for him to find us the perfect mortgage, he just didn’t stop! Replying outside of his working hours and pretty much instantly. You can tell he is always telling you the truth, no messing about. He is just looking to get you the best deal. When Andy had done his part I was referred to Kelly to talk about insurance. I highly recommend Kelly, she relieved the stress of trying to sort our own life/home insurance. She made sure it suited our circumstances and did all the work of setting it up. Our home move was delayed but she kept in contact to make sure she started it on the correct date. The whole team are brilliant and I wouldn’t go elsewhere now.Posted on Google

She was very patient at explaining things to me and made the experience very positive. Nathan Dallimore1902 days agoMe and my other half have used Andy and the team twice now. When we first were looking to get our first mortgage for our first property and recently to re-mortgage. Andy is fantastic, the service was both informative and proffessional. The process is incredibly easy and thet cover all the bases from mortgage to protection insurances to give you leave of mind. We have used Kelly for our insurances and once again with no surprise she was fantastic. Got us some great income protection insurance and the process was quick and easy, she calls when it is convenient for you and that includes evenings! All this plus they charge nothing our end for their exemplary service, you physically can't find a better broker for your mortgage and protection insurance needs.
